A little family photo

So I have created a link to Heather Mann Photography's Blog.
She is great! She did our maternity pictures a couple weeks ago and is putting together some additional photo stuff for us (hellloooo Christmas cards!) ... So I thought I would share a little family photo she took the day of the maternity shoot. I cant wait for her to photograph our new little sister when she gets here!

Cookies!!!

Well, Jonathan's sister Pam has an amazing cookie recipe. So we got it last week and this past Sunday tried our hand at these awesome cookies.... yum!

We made a HUGE batch of them and when they cooled we set out to decorate... for hours! :)

Lilli even decorated her very own... A Christmas tree.

She wasn't quite sure what it was we were asking her to do but she caught on fast... she put little green and red sprinkles on a frosted tree one by one. It was super cute. Then she realized it was edible...

Needless to say we have a ton of cookies... I was able to pawn some off on the nanny (thank you Sara!!).

No bed rest yet... praise God.
We got a dvd of the ultrasound and are going to try and post it as soon as figure out how to.She was so sweet... moving like crazy at first and then yawned about 10 times!
We cant wait to meet Baby sister!

"you lost that privilege"...seriously????!!!!

Well tonight we were hanging some paintings... So Daddy was standing on a kitchen chair at some points. Lilli was in awe.
After we were done hanging the paintings and frames Lilli still wanted a chance at standing on the chair... or so she thought.
We took a chair in to playroom (carpet :) ) and we picked her up so she could stand on it... she settled for sitting on it... a little timid when it came to actually standing on it.
So we were playing (Lilli still sitting on the chair) and she starts to try and hit me in the face. We tell her no, no no, no, no no. Over and over again. So finally I said to her, "If you try and hit mommy one more time you have to get off the chair". She tried to hit me again. So I picked her up, set her on the floor, and said "I'm sorry Lilli but you lost that privilege".
Then I said "Oh NO! Did I seriously just say that???" We really are parents...

To register or not to register...

So typically I thought it was tradition to only register during your first pregnancy... however I have been set straight on this...These days you get to register for all your babies! I love it.

It was so much fun to do it again!!! Especially now knowing what we really will need. You know being a seasoned mom and all :)

So here is our registry- Target, under Jonathan and Ashley White (Baby Sister White)
yay!

SNEAKY SNEAKY!!!

SO... Tuesday Jonathan came home from work... normal time, normal way... Except when he walked in the door he had this strange grin on his face... and he left the door open behind him. strange. He then proceeded to tell me that he was going to grab the trash cans at which point I heard a knock on our front door (which was still open). When I turned the corner there was someone walking into our house... MY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my Dad and Jonathan had been conspiring for a couple weeks to have him come out and surprise me for my Birthday. It was awesome. I cant believe them!!! I was, of course, CLUELESS!

Wed, we took my dad down to Pikes Place, had sushi (all cooked for me :) ) for my Birthday dinner and then Cheesecake Factory for my Birthday Cheesecake!

Halloween...

Well tonight was Halloween. We had so much fun with Lilli!

We started out the night getting Lilli dressed up in her little ducky costume, she looked super cute. Then mommy and daddy decided to dress up a bit as pirates!

We trick or treated with the little girl next door, Ava. She was a puppy. Her and Lilli were so cute!

Lilli did a great job only taking one piece of candy, as well as putting candy into other kids bags.

We trick or treated for about 30 minutes and then hung out at home passing out candy and playing with Lilli.... we even let her try a piece of a Twizzler... she wasn't to happy when mommy took it away!! However because she doesn't eat candy we put a puppy dog coloring book and a new princess cell phone in her pumpkin bag... She seemed thoroughly satisfied!

Lilli takes a trip to the Pumpkin Patch...

So this afternoon we headed to the Pumpkin Patch.

Jonathan found an AWESOME patch that is super close to our house. Only 10 minutes away!!!

We had such a great time! There were lots of animals...pigs, ducks, chickens, goats, pony's, cows, bunny's, you name it. There was even a small incubator of 1-10 day old chicks. One egg was even in mid hatch!!! It was very cool.

So starting out we though Lilli would love the ducks.. after all it is one of her favorite storybook animals. Also her Halloween costume this year :) Well....we were wrong. Although we cant really blame her. Even mommy jumped when the ducks quacked at her. The were MASSIVE.

However, Lilli did like the little baby ducks and chicks :) She even went into the bunny hut to pet them :)

All in all her favorite part was the actual pumpkin patch. She probably would have wondered around in it for hours had we let her. She would go from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to pick each one up. It was very very cute.

We finally settled on 3 pumpkins. One of them very tiny, perfect for Lilli. She has become very attached to her little pumpkin!

Even when sick...we pose.

So the past few days we have all been under the weather.. Lilli had a virus with teething her molars to top it off. Poor baby!

The past few nights have been pretty restless... we are hoping tonight will be back to normal.

Prayers appreciated :)

So even in the midst of crummy feeling, mommy and Lilli pose for daddy :)

Baby UGG

So Daddy and Lilli were playing in the den...all of a sudden Daddy started laughing hysterically. When I went to look, here is what I saw.

The hat!

So a few weeks ago my cousins Julie, Nate, and his wife Heather came to our house and stayed for a couple days.

So one night we are all sitting in the living room about to watch One Tree Hill and Nate says that he brought yarn to make Lilli a hat. SWEEEET! In case you didn't know Nate is the master of hat making... I need to talk him into making one for me.

Typically Lilli pulls hats off...which is such a bummer because she is so so cute in them! Well she happens to like Nate's hat.

This Sunday we went to Edmond's for a walk and dinner and Lilli thoroughly enjoyed using her hat, it was a bit chilly. Here are some pics :)...

Sweet hat, right?!

My Baby isnt a Baby anymore....

So i was looking at some pictures a few moments ago and realized something... I'm not sure if it seemed so tragic to me because I am 24 weeks pregnant so hormones are raging, or if it is truly tragic.

My Baby isn't a Baby anymore....

Of course she is MY (by "my" I mean Jonathan and mine) baby... she will always be!

Seriously though, she walks, feeds herself, tells me "no no" while shaking her hand side to side, reads herself books in her own Lilli language. She isn't our little baby anymore!

I guess she decided to get all grown up so she can teach her baby sister a thing or two when she arrives :)

Oatmeal Baby

Lilli has a breakfast love...Oatmeal :) I am very very happy about this, since its so good for her!!

However lately Lilli has decided that she no longer likes mom to feed her. Which is normally fine...however oatmeal normally requires a spoon. A spoon....not a function that Lilli has quite mastered. She is getting there though!

DePung wedding

So one of our last events while still living in STL was the DePung wedding. I just got some of the pics from that night... super cute so I thought I would share :)
This is what a typical wedding looks like for us.
